Description

"A majority of Americans don’t think President Obama will win his reelection bid, according to a new poll released Monday.

Fifty-five percent of those polled expect the Republican nominee to win in 2012, while 37 percent expect Obama to win a second term, according to the survey from ABC News/Washington Post.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/majority-expects-obama-to-lose-re-election/ Of those surveyed, 54 percent of independent voters indicated they believe the eventual GOP nominee will beat Obama. That number won’t necessarily translate into votes by the crucial independent demographic; however, it does signal an early lack of confidence as Obama begins to ramp up his reelection efforts.
