In the 1820s and 1830s, some candidates ran as
"Jacksonian." These candidates represented a faction
of the earlier parties until 1826. From 1826 until
1840, any candidates identified as "Jacksonian"
should be marked here as Democrats.
In the election of 1932, a group of dissident
Democrats ran a Jacksonian ticket, with candidates
for many offices in the state.
