On Friday, October 6, on National Manufacturing Day, the Biden-Harris Administration will kick off another multi-week Administration-wide tour highlighting how Bidenomics and President Biden’s Investing in America agenda is benefitting communities across the country.

The tour will feature President Biden, Vice President Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Cabinet members, and Senior Administration Officials making dozens of stops in the coming two weeks to show how Bidenomics is growing the economy from the middle out and bottom up. This comes as Republicans in Congress continue to try to block President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, try to repeal critical pieces of legislation that have created jobs and helped drive over $500 billion in private sector investments since the beginning of his Administration, and oppose investments that are creating jobs and opportunities in their own districts. Throughout the tour, the Biden-Harris Administration will highlight the split screen contrasting how President Biden is delivering for the American people, while Republicans in Congress try to push their extreme MAGAnomics agenda and failed trickle-down policies of the past.

The tour will kick off on Friday, where First Lady Jill Biden will visit Dutchess Community College in Fishkill, New York and attend the launch of a new mechatronics training lab funded in part by President Biden’s American Rescue Plan. On Friday, the Administration will also hold an Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Sprint convening at the White House – officially kicking off an intensive drive to build a diverse, skilled pipeline of workers for good jobs, including union jobs, in advanced manufacturing.

Over the course of the tour, President Biden and Administration leaders will make major announcements around infrastructure – made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, private sector investments driven by the Inflation Reduction Act, and highlight historic actions by the Biden Administration to combat climate change, advance environmental justice, and create good-paying jobs in industries that will drive American competitiveness. The tour will also underscore that President Biden’s investments are leaving no community behind, and helping cities and towns across America become centers of innovation, job creation, and opportunity.

As part of the Investing in America tour:

  • President Biden will make multiple stops to highlight how his Administration’s investments in infrastructure, clean energy, and manufacturing are creating jobs and opportunities in communities across the country.

  • Throughout the course of the tour, Vice President Harris will highlight how Bidenomics and investments from the Biden-Harris Administration are making our communities more resilient to climate change and strengthening the economy.

  • First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will visit Dutchess Community College in Fishkill, New York on Friday, October 6, and attend the launch of a new mechatronics training lab funded in part by President Biden’s American Rescue Plan.

  • The White House will officially kick off an Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Sprint on Friday, October 6th, bringing together employers, unions, education and training providers, community-based groups, philanthropic organizations, and state and local governments to take concrete steps to help more Americans train for and succeed in advanced manufacturing fields.

  • Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland will be in Tennessee to discuss how the Department is implementing more than $2 billion in investments to restore our nation’s lands and waters and advance the America the Beautiful initiative to restore and conserve 30% of lands and waters by 2030. Secretary Haaland will also make stops in Illinois and Alaska to highlight how the Investing in America agenda is benefitting marginalized and Indigenous communities.

  • Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack will visit Lime Springs, Iowa to highlight how the Biden Administration’s Investing in America agenda is expanding independent meat and poultry processing capacity, increasing competition, supporting producer income, and creating jobs and economic opportunities in rural areas. Secretary Vilsack will also travel to Virginia to highlight the Biden-Harris Administration efforts to connect students to healthy school meals.

  • Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su will travel to New York to highlight how President Biden’s agenda is creating good-paying jobs, and empowering and educating workers in communities across the country.

  • Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg will travel to Florida to highlight how the Biden-Harris Administration’s infrastructure investments are creating jobs, growing the economy, and strengthening our supply chains.

  • Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm will head to the Midwest, highlighting how President Biden’s investments in infrastructure and manufacturing are building a clean energy economy. Her trip will focus on how investments from Bidenomics are building clean communities, strengthening energy security, and supporting the clean energy workforce – creating tens of thousands of jobs across the nation.

  • EPA Administrator Michael Regan will travel to Michigan and Wisconsin to highlight how the Biden Administration’s Investing in America agenda is delivering clean air and water to communities, tackling the climate crisis, and working to restore and protect the Great Lakes.

  • Small Business Administrator Isabel Guzman will travel to Wisconsin to highlight how there have been record small business starts under the Biden-Harris Administration.
