The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum extends its deepest sympathies to the victims of the attack at the Jewish Museum in Brussels, Belgium. It appears to have been motivated by antisemitism. Antisemitism remains a persistent problem in Europe and globally nearly 70 years after the Holocaust, and it must be confronted in all of its manifestations. The Museum hopes authorities will be able to quickly apprehend the perpetrators of this crime.
